Differential Pressure Transmitter Manufacturer in India
Differential pressure (DP) transmitters for flow measurement, filter and strainer pressure-drop monitoring, HVAC air / duct pressure and closed-tank level applications. Select local indication, 4-20 mA transmission and communication options according to the process duty.
Differential Pressure Indicator Transmitters are designed for accurate measurement, local indication and remote transmission of pressure difference across filters, flow elements, tanks and process equipment.
5-digit backlit LCD for clear local indication
Positive, negative and bidirectional differential-pressure measurement
Mini Differential Pressure Transmitters are designed for compact and reliable measurement of differential pressure in industrial, OEM and skid-mounted applications where installation space is limited.
Compact differential-pressure transmitter for space-limited installations
Suitable for positive and negative differential-pressure measurement
Differential pressure transmitters measure the difference between two pressure points rather than a single process pressure. Kuncham instruments are used for filter condition monitoring, flow measurement across a primary element, closed-tank level and other applications where the pressure difference is the required process value.
The range includes a full-size Differential Pressure Indicator Transmitter with a backlit display and communication options, plus a compact Mini Differential Pressure Transmitter for OEM equipment, HVAC, clean-room and space-limited process installations.
How it works
Working Principle
High-side and low-side process pressures act on the sensing element. The common pressure is rejected and the difference between the two inputs is converted into the measured differential-pressure signal.
01
Two pressure inputs
The high-pressure and low-pressure sides are connected to the two process points being compared.
02
Difference measurement
The sensing element responds to the pressure difference while common pressure is compensated by the measuring arrangement.
03
Process output
Electronics condition the signal for local indication and/or 4-20 mA transmission to the control system.

Questions & Answers
What is a differential pressure transmitter?
It measures the pressure difference between a high-pressure input and a low-pressure input and converts that difference into a local indication and/or electrical output.
Which model is suitable for filter monitoring?
Both families can be selected for filter monitoring. The indicator model suits installations needing local display and communication; the mini model suits compact OEM and low-space installations.
Can differential pressure be used for level measurement?
Yes. A differential pressure transmitter can measure level in a closed or pressurised tank by compensating the vessel pressure and measuring the liquid-column contribution.
Can it be used for flow measurement?
Yes. Differential pressure across an orifice plate or another primary element can be converted to flow, with square-root output available on selected indicator models.
What details are required for selection?
Provide the differential range, static pressure, process media, temperature, connection, mounting, wetted material, output and whether display or communication is required.
