How it works
Working Principle
Applied process pressure acts on a sensing diaphragm. Its movement is converted into an electrical value, compensated and scaled by the electronics, then transmitted as a standard control signal.

Pressure sensing
The process pressure reaches the wetted diaphragm through the selected screwed, flanged or sanitary connection.

Signal conversion
The sensor converts diaphragm movement into an electrical value that is linearised and compensated.

Indication and output
The instrument provides a 4-20 mA signal; selected models also provide a local display, HART or RS-485 communication.
