Overview

Product Description

Kuncham Controls temperature transmitters convert signals from industrial temperature sensors into stable 4-20 mA outputs for PLC, DCS, SCADA and control-panel monitoring. The range includes instruments with local indication, compact head-mounted conversion and a panel-mounted process indicator.

Temperature Indicator Transmitters provide field indication and communication in a rugged enclosure. Head-Mounted Temperature Transmitters fit inside the sensor connection head to condition the signal close to the measuring point, while the Process Indicator provides a clear remote reading at the control panel.

How it works

Working Principle

An RTD or compatible temperature sensor changes its electrical signal as process temperature changes. The transmitter linearises and conditions this signal, then converts it into a standard current output for indication and control.

01

Temperature sensing

A PT-100, PT-1000 or compatible sensor detects the process temperature at the selected insertion point.

02

Signal conditioning

The transmitter amplifies, linearises and compensates the low-level sensor signal for stable industrial measurement.

03

Indication and transmission

The measured value is shown locally or remotely and transmitted as 4-20 mA, with HART or RS-485 available on selected models.

Questions & Answers

Which temperature transmitter should I choose?

Choose the Temperature Indicator Transmitter when a local display and field communication are required, the Head-Mounted Temperature Transmitter for compact conversion at the sensor head, or the Process Indicator for remote control-panel viewing.

Which temperature sensors are supported?

The centralized range specifies PT-100 and PT-1000 RTD inputs. Compatible sensor options can be selected according to the transmitter model and application.

What output signals are available?

The range supports 4-20 mA two-wire output with HART. Optional RS-485 Modbus is available on selected configurations.

Are different process connections and probe lengths available?

Yes. Screwed and flanged connections are available, and probe length can be customised for the insertion depth and process arrangement.

What information is needed for selection?

Provide the temperature range, sensor type, process media, insertion length, process connection, mounting, enclosure, output, communication and display requirements.
